Pearls Series - Every anniversary has a stone, a metal or a precious substance associated with it. We may be familiar with Gold, Silver, etc. 30^th anniversaries are Pearl, so we are lining up to bring you some “Pearls”, performers who are long time friends of Godfrey’s (or “FOGs”, as they are known hereabouts.) Some of the ones already lined up for 2005-2006 include: Rosalie Sorrels, Eric Andersen, Steve Forbert, Kim and Reggie Harris, British Music Hall, Bob Franke, Anne Hills and Michael Smith, Chris Smither, Tony Bird, Paul Geremia, Peter and Lou Berryman, and a bunch more we are talking with. Along with all these, we will be presenting Angel Band in December, and I’ll be telling you more about that as the time approaches. Suffice to say that this bluegrass band with three women on lead vocals are a discovery and pet project of one quite famous guitarist and mandolin player from Wilmington who we all know and love. Google them if you can, and stay tuned for more.
