Godfrey's is proud to bring you Lehigh Valley native and guitar legend, Steve Kimock with a trio featuring John Morgan Kimock on drums and Trevor Exter on cello, bass and vocals.

Kimock is distinguished for his incomparable approach to the art of guitar; his ability to gently tug a flurry of notes with tonal precision is breathtaking. Great Guitarists Series - Frank DiBussolo and John Stowell

John Stowell is a unique jazz guitarist from Oregon influenced as much by pianists and horn players as he is by guitarists. His original take on harmony, chords and improvisation sets him apart. Frank DiBussolo and John both play with a more classical and pianistic technique than the blues licks influenced style of some jazz guitarists. John has been called a master creator with incredible originality. Some of the artists John has collaborated with include Milt Jackson, Lionel Hampton, Herb Ellis, Bill Watrous, Billy Higgins, and Dave Liebman.

Angel band

Angel Band makes big noise. Loud noise. Boisterous, sad, sweet, goofy, glorious and angelic. The core of the band is held by the three singers: Nancy Josephson, Aly Paige and Kathleen Weber. All are experienced on lead and backup vocals. The love of the sound that three female voices make together is at the center of this group. The chord rules the day. Both mystical and elemental when the three hit “it” the hair on the back of your neck’s gonna stand up. The difficult to pigeonhole sound that emanates from the band roams from old time “mountain” music to contemporary rock and roll influenced originals. You’ll hear a fusion of folk, roots, blues, country and gospel-tinged throw downs. Any way you slice it this band catches hold of you and won’t let go.
